Hello! Uhm, how big is the chance my design gets printed? I need the money to get into graphic school… It’s a long story… I became 18 this month and i need to pay for everything myself… Sorry to bother you!

Hey Marc! I’ve got a feature request that’s been up for quite a while. Me and many other designers around have agreed that we would really appreciate it if we could track the number of our shirts sold without having to bother you with asking manually. Even some of the top designers here say that they are ashamed to look greedy and e-mail you about that. So I thought that a simple counter could be one solution, an automated e-mail when the sales of your shirt reach some milestone could be another. I think it would benefit your business, too, since people would be more encouraged to promote their own shirts on the web or to friends and families if they could see how the promoting makes the sale numbers grow.

Hey Marc! I’d have to agree with dagnis! I’ve been wondering about my 1000 cranes shirt. It says I’ve sold out men’s does that mean i’ve sold at least 1000 shirts? =) How many shirts do you print to begin with?
csj89 Jun 02, 2008
I agree :D
casajordi Jun 02, 2008
I Agree to !
shantyshawn Jun 02, 2008
Count me in for that one! And I second collisiontheory’s sentiment. It’d be great to know how blackbird’s is doing!
RikkiB Jun 02, 2008
Great idea! I’ve often wondered how many tees I’ve sold or when/if artists have reached a rockstar level. (do artists get a little marker on their design if it gets a rockstar level?) Cheers!
-apy- Jun 02, 2008
Yes! Good idea Dagnis! I totally agree!!!
the_jcw Jun 02, 2008
I definitely agree with the comment by Dagnis!
the_jcw Jun 02, 2008
agree with Dagnis!
cbass99 Jun 02, 2008
That would be a great addition. (Dagnis comment above)

Hey, I’ve been thinking on some improvement on your site. Why don’t you make a counter on winner accounts to count total shirts sold, and also on winning designs. There would be good to have some kind of forum, and an option to make links to names (for example if I’d write :Jason: it would make a link to you like: Jason) in comments. Thanks for reading, great work! Have a nice day!
This was my comment on Jason’s profile, he said, that they’re working on it…
1. Thanks for Dagnis, telling me to be one of the greatest artist. shy
2. I totally agree, as I’ve specified above…
so loud WE WANT COUNTER!!!
3. Much thanks and lots of kisses to DBH and Whompy ;)
opifan64 Jun 02, 2008
agree with all the comments so far :)
whompy Jun 02, 2008
Hello everyone, thanks for all of the comments – we wold be very stoked if we could encourage artists to promote their shirts more.Forums, counters, cool linking, missile launchers etc. all in due time – we went the rounds with various developers and have finally been lucky enough to hire our own inhouse developer (Go Go Tim B.!!). Shanty to answer your question you will be getting a Rockstar check any day now – congrats! admittedly, since we do all our own printing our initial runs are a little smaller (less than 1,000) if the shirt sells out then we can respond quickly and run a reprint. So tell you what, we are working on some cool summer updates and we will through the counters (I like that idea a lot), forums, Rockstar tags on designs – if you think of some more please put just post them here (until we have a proper forum). Thanks everyone for the support – we are doing are best to make DBH awesome but there is no way in H.E.Double Hockey Sticks we could do it without everyone here- THANK YOU!
dagnis Jun 03, 2008

RikkiB Jun 11, 2008
Woohoo!! Hey also – is there a way to tell if your design has been museumed without logging out to see if there’s still a voting button… or searching through the museum?
Incarnadine Jun 19, 2008
Hey, I’m doing the FTSK thing, is it alright if we go all out with mixed media and stuff for this as well? Thanks~
dagnis Jun 19, 2008
Hey Marc! Noticed you’ve been commenting more often around DBH lately and wanted to say that that’s just brilliant! Otherwise people might start thinking the site is run by something like a PHP script alone :) So thanks for taking the time. Much appreciated!
copeguy Jul 11, 2008
Good to meet you and the gang today. I think that we can take things to another level together. Can’t wait to work with you bros. Now that I turned ‘human’ today I can’t wait to spread the word. Peace.

Spunkalicious Jul 16, 2008
just wanted to ask you for your vote on my newest submission "Blooming Imagination".
To vote, Just click on my name and select the flower design and post a vote. I really want this style to get out there in the world. Thanks! I could someday vote for you if you’d like.
dagnis Jul 25, 2008
now that whompy has learned how to vote for design submissions on dbh, i’ve got a new feature request and anyone who has seen my gallery should not be surprised that i’m coming forward with this: please let us delete our old designs on our own. just like comments. you can limit that they can only be deleted 3 or whatever months after the submission date or that the dbh stuff has to confirm their deletion first. whatever. i’d really hate to bother you with e-mails whenever i look at my gallery and feel there’s just too much old trash among designs i’d actually like to keep.
exoartificial Jul 30, 2008
It has been changed to exoartificialdesigns@yahoo.com Apologize for the confusion pal. ciao. José

Hey this Mike from across the street. I’m just barely even setting up an account which bums me out a bit. The designs on this site are awesome though, I bought a few but I have to send them to Utah so its gonna be while before I can check them out.

Ceddyishman Aug 26, 2008
hey man so I submited a design in the DBH10K contest but its entered as a normal Tee not an entry in the special contest. Can you fix this without taking away votes or should I resubmit it? i know the deadline is soon and I dont want to miss it! Thanks.
